Ghost’s Prequelle

Ghost's Prequelle

Ghost shouldn’t need an introduction.

Their new album begins with a creepy and ominous nursery rhyme sung by children, only to break into the classical/instrumental musical sounds you’ve come to expect from Ghost.

“Rats” kicks the album into gear with some hard hitting drum beats and a vintage metal sound. That authentic sound is what makes this band popular. You’ll find yourself imagining you’re in the 70s and early 80s when metal was still cool and didn’t all sound like imitations of one another. “Rats” is an epic track, and there’s just something about it that makes it one you’ll want to listen to over and over.

“Faith” is the stand-out track on this 12-track album. This one is a song that will have you nodding your head to the beat throughout the entire thing. The guitar-work on this song is divine. Have faith that you will find it amazing as well.

This little look into the new album from Ghost would be an extremely long review if it covered every song on the album, so here is one more tidbit before you buy your own copy.

“Witch Image” was chosen for its name, and it was a great choice. This song almost has a vibe that makes one think of the pop music of the 60s, maybe a little Beatles-esque in a way, but with a touch of a metal edge. This is a beautiful and mellow track that makes this album even more fantastic.

Two thumbs up on this newest effort from Ghost. You won’t be able to stop listening. If you like metal, new or old, you’ll dig this.
