Disturbed At Capital One Arena 2-22-2019

 

Disturbed’s ‘Evolution’ tour kicked off last month in San Diego, on Thursday the tour made a stop in the nation’s capital playing Capital One Arena. Disturbed are touring in support of their seventh studio release, Evolution which was released back in October of 2018. The album can be purchased HERE. The current tour will wrap up in the guy’s hometown of Chicago when the band plays Allstate Arena on March 8th. Fans can purchase tickets, as well as VIP packages HERE

Getting things started for the night were Three Days Grace who are currently out touring in support of their 2018 release, Outsider. The band despite a slight hiccup at the beginning of “I Hate Everything About You” put on an energy packed twelve song set. The band will make appearances at a couple of spring festivals before heading to Europe for a month long tour and returning back to the states for their tour with Breaking Benjamin. 

Three Days Grace Setlist: The Mountain, Home, The Good Life, Pain, Infra-Red, Painkiller, Break, Right Left Wrong, Animal I Have Become (with Seven Nation Army intro), I Hate Everything About You, Never Too Late, Riot.

Closing out the night was the band everyone had come out to see, Disturbed. The band kicked off their eighteen song set with “Are You Ready” from the latest release, Evolution. The guys then quickly moved on to “Prayer,” and “The Vengeful One,” which was filled with flames that lit up the arena. Other tracks from the latest release to make the setlist were, “Hold On to Memories,” “A Reason to Fight,” “Watch You Burn,” and “No More.” “A Reason to Fight” and “Watch You Burn” were both performed on a small stage that had been setup towards the back of the arena floor giving fans an up close and personal view of the performance. The band wrapped up their set with “Inside the Fire” but returned to the stage for a four song encore. As the band returned to the stage vocalist David Draiman talked to the crowd about the legalization of marijuana while the rest of the members of the band took selfies using audience members cell phones. David then brought several fans up on stage to join the band for “The Light” and “Stricken.” The night wrapped up with “Down With the Sickness.”

Encore: The Light (with fan on stage), Stricken, No More, and Down With the Sickness.
