Southern California Rockers BADFLOWER‘s highly anticipated debut album OK, I’M SICK is available everywhere now – PRESS HERE. Not only did the album reach #1 on iTunes Alternative Charts and #5 on iTunes Overall Charts but their single “Heroin” is Top 10 at Active Rock. The band celebrated the release with a sold-out show at LA’s El Rey Theatre. NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly was also on site to record the special performance for this Thursday’s (2/28) episode which airs on 2/29 at 1:35/12:35am.
Early reviews are praising Badflower, who collectively co-wrote all the tracks on the album:
“Unsentimental, chilling, evocative, and real…” – iHeart Radio News
“”OK, I’M SICK is a collective, bold statement for the band that cries out, “We’re just getting started, and we aren’t going anywhere!” You will be heavily impressed by the debut, high-energy album: there is enough diversity in the tracks yet the record consistently flows with the overall sound. The stories and confessions hold the listener captive, and will make each person want to unleash any best kept monsters and purge all sins.” (5 out of 5 stars)– Cryptic Rock
“OK, I’M SICK fits in perfectly in today’s rock scene. From start to finish, the album takes you on an emotional ride jumping from hit to hit. The strong percussion presence partnered with hard guitar sounds place them at the top of the game. I am confident you’ll be hearing their name in the future of rock music.” (5 out of 5 stars) – Substream
“[debut album] OK, I’M SICK is definitely a promising start…well-crafted, glossy angst” – Newsday
“OK, I’M SICK is an intensely emotional and jarring journey of riff-filled, primal hard rock and a blatantly 21st century rock record covering a range of topics more modern than the average top 40 charts can handle and doing so with an unnerving honesty and vulnerability.” – High Voltage Magazine
“Smooth vocals combined with a heartbreaking message of lost love and youth make for another strong single from Badflower’s upcoming album, OK, I’M SICK.” – Alternative Press
“Good, old-fashioned rock n’ roll may have just made a modern comeback.” – NYLON “Badflower already sound like seasoned rock veterans on OK, I’M SICK.” – Radio.com
Nominated for an iHeart Radio Award for Best New Rock / Alternative Artist, Loudwire has proclaimed “Badflower could be one of rock’s next biggest bands.” Their lead single “Ghost” hit #1 at Active Rock, racked up over 9 million views on the music video for “Ghost,” and performed the hit on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Badflower also landed No. 7 on Billboard’s 2018 Year-End Mainstream Rock Songs Chart with their song “Heroin,” which reached Top 10 at Active Rock this week. The band recently did a stripped-down performance of select songs from their debut album for fans on Billboard Live.
Badflower just embarked on Nothing More’s THE TRUTH TOUR which will be followed by Shinedown’s ATTENTION ATTENTION Tour as well as a Spring Headlining Run. For ticket information and a complete list of upcoming tour dates, visit Badflowermusic.com.
