Canadian alternative rock band THE GLORIOUS SONS have announced their “A War On Everything North American Tour” will continue through the spring, with newly added dates through June, including headline dates, festival appearances at the renowned Beale Street Music FestivalHangout Festival and Firefly Festivals, and select dates supporting THE STRUTS. In addition to these US dates, THE GLORIOUS SONS have also been announced on Download Festival in the UK. The band is currently on the road in support of their widely celebrated record, A War On Everything, that’s available now from Black Box/BMG. Tickets for the tour will go on sale Thursday, February 20th at 10:00AM Local Time.

Over the last year THE GLORIOUS SONS have become one of rock’s latest, mainstream breakout successes. The band’s massive radio anthem, “S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun),” was the most played song at rock radio in 2019 according to Mediabase, and their latest singles, “Panic Attack,” “Pink Motel” and “Closer To The Sky” are well on the way up the charts. Along with racking up airplay all across North America, the band is up for two iHeartRadio Awards, “Best New Rock/Alternative Rock Artist” and “Rock Song of the Year.” The year ahead will prove to be monumental for the band as they further confirm their place among contemporary rock’s biggest names.

A daring 14-track collection of stadium-ready, “dirty, sweaty rock” (Alternative Press), rife with devastating moments of vulnerability and searing insight into universal truths about anxiety, sadness and isolation in the 21st century, A War On Everything was produced by Frederik Thaae (Kate Nash, Atlas Genius), and recorded at North of Princess studios in the group’s hometown of Kingston, ON.  Billboard hailed the record’s “turbulent guitar licks,” saying, “maybe the self-aware band thinks [rock] is dying, but they might just be resurrecting it.” Stuart Berman for Apple Music said, “‘A War on Everything’ heightens the tension between entertainment and inner torment at the heart of The Glorious Sons’ sound.”
