Devour the Day’s frontman, Blake Allison, spoke with me for a few minutes before performing at Rocktoberfest, an annual concert and Octoberfest event for military personnel aboard MCAS Cherry Point. With their new album releasing later this month, he spoke a little about what to expect from it, and got into the process he goes through to write songs. Each member of Devour the Day has a great perspective on music and the community, and they take the title of “artist” to heart.
