Nine Inch Nails brought their ‘Cold and Black and Infinite’ North American tour to the nation’s capital for two nights at The Anthem. The current leg of the tour will wrap up with six sold out shows at the Palladium in Los Angeles in December. Tickets for the remaining tour can be purchased HERE.
Kite Base took the stage around 7:30 to get the night started and were followed by The Jesus and Mary Chain who performed a twelve song set.
Fans were treated to different setlists each night of their stay at The Anthem, playing material across their nine studio albums. Each night was roughly a twenty song set lasting nearly two hours. Both night’s sets wrapped up with the classic, “Head Like a Hole” before the band returned to the stage for a three song encore with the night wrapping up with “Hurt.” The much more stripped down production compared to previous tours seemed to play well with the 6500 in attendance Plenty of fog and strobes flooded the stage during the night’s performance.
