MTV NETWORKS EXCLUSIVELY PREMIERES

PIERCE THE VEIL’S MUSIC VIDEO, “CIRCLES”

MTV Premieres Pierce The Veil's "Circles" Video
Pierce The Veil, one of the hottest breaking bands in the alternative/rock world today, will see its music video “Circles” exclusively premiered on MTV today, airing on AMTV, AMTV2, MTV Hits, MTV Live and mtvU beginning at 6:00AM ET.  “Circles” will also be available via MTV’s Snapchat Discovery channel as well as on VEVO http://vevo.ly/ogxJNy
The “Circles” video was directed by Drew Russ who directed Pierce’s 2012 “King For A Day” video that has accumulated more than 70-million YouTube views.  The video’s concept is loosely based on the 1991 feature film “Nothing But Trouble” that was directed and written by Dan Aykroyd and starred Chevy Chase, John Candy and Aykroyd.  PTV is on tour, on the road, their bus pulls up to their hotel for the night, and the second thoughts about this hotel start immediately.  The hotel’s bar serves drinks laced with snakes, bugs, eyeballs, and other animal parts, the hotel rooms are decorated in “crazy” – rooms full of mirrors. rooms full of rotting food, rooms full of skeletons and mystery stains.  San Francisco morning radio host and former MTV VJ Matt Pinfield plays a featured role as an obsessed and very creepy old man.
“Circles,” currently a Top 40 track at Alternative radio, a is taken from the band’s long-awaited and critically-acclaimed new album Misadventures that debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.  Pierce The Veil, nominated for “Bandom of the Year,” performed the track on last night’s broadcast of MTV’s Fandom Awards.  The band recently completed the sold-out U.S. “Misadventures Tour” and just announced the “Made to Destroy Tour,” presented by Journeys, a seven-week North American trek that kicks off on September 3.  The band also recently announced a UK tour to follow this winter.
