Marilyn Manson kicked off his ‘Heaven Upside Down’ tour in Silver Spring, Md on Wednesday night, fans lined up for blocks waiting to get into the sold out show at The Fillmore.
Manson is set to release his tenth studio album, Heaven Upside Down, on October 6th. The first single from the album, “KILL4ME” has been getting plenty of air play and the video for “We Know Where You Fucking Live” have been giving fans a taste of what to expect from the album.
Manson played a 16 song set that got kicked off with the new track, “Revelation #12” from the upcoming new album. The set included “Kill4ME” which was played for the first time live. Rounding out the set were Manson classics like, “The Dope Show,” “Tourniquet,” and “The Beautiful People.” Overall the nights set was one of the better performances I have seen from Manson from the past couple of tours.
Manson suffered injuries during his performance at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on September 30th when a stage prop fell on him knocking him unconscious. The tour has been postponed and will pick back up on October 15th in Grand Prairie, TX. FOr tickets and VIP packages click HERE.
