Crobot is an American hard rock band from Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Made up of members, Brandon Yeagley (vocals), Chris Bishop (guitar), Jake Figueroa (bass) and Paul Figueroa (drums).

The band self released it’s debut ep, The Legend of the Spaceborne Killer in 2012, which was well received by it’s growing fan-base. In 2013 the band was discovered by Wind-Up Records. They were officially signed in December of that year.

Crobot has toured with Chevelle, Clutch,  The Sword, Truckfighters, Kill Devil Hill and more. All in 2014 alone.

On June 8th Crobot released their new single “Not for Sale” taken from their second full length album “Welcome to Fat City” to be released September 23rd. We had the privilege of getting an advance exclusive preview of the title track.

Crobot Welcome to Fat City

Finally! Somebody brings the fun back to Hard Rock music. This is classic feel good, hard, heavy, groovy Rock and Roll. Get ready for a good time! The guitar riffs would make Jimmy Page proud. Blues based infectious wha wha laced guitar work, pull the listener in right from the get-go. The vocals remind me of a singer named Oni Logan. Logan was the front man for a band called Lynch Mob. Which was a spin off of Dokken. Yeah, I’m going way back in the vault. None the less, both men have serious pipes. The mid section of the song has a somewhat psychedelic feel to it. The guitar parts have a fluidity that lend to the overall live feel of the track. Nothing here sounds repeated or formulaic. Which is a beautiful thing. This isn’t cookie cutter Rock and Roll. I’m sold. You can make 80’s comparisons, but there’s something here that’s better. The sincerity, the energy and the overall feel. Can’t wait to hear the full length.
