The new web series, which will feature 13 episodes in all, features behind the scene footage of the new album, which is inspired in part by the Ganzfeld Experiment, and the out of body experiences and hallucinations that often accompany it. As the new video details, Davis quietly compiled ideas for what would become this solo effort beginning back in 2007. Writing and recording on the road, he personally contributed guitar, keys, and anything else he could get his hands on to the record, which in this episode, includes an American Indian Flute.
“We took footage from recording the album 10 years ago,” Davis recalls of the footage, “and put it together to talk about each song on the record. It’s cool to share this peek behind the curtain with everyone.”
