Inner Outlines’ Perspective

Inner Outlines' Perspective

Inner Outlines is an indie alternative band reigning from Jacksonville, IL. Their newest album, Perspective, just released this past month. At first listen, they remind me a lot of Fallout Boy. The heavy guitar chords and drum presence was my favorite throughout the album.

“Take Me” was my favorite of the album. I liked the balance of a slower pace and screaming lyrics. Opening with “Everyday, I’m waking up to the same old things which is why I walk alone,” this song is easily relatable, for fear of the mundane.

“Sick,” the only explicit song on the album was another favorite. With the opening bass, it reminded me of one of my favorite classics, “Click Click Boom.” It had an extra heaviness to the song that made it stand out from other tracks.

Make sure you follow them on Facebook to stay up-to-date on their band and album news. https://www.facebook.com/InnerOutlines/ You can stream their album now on Spotify. I highly recommend this album for any Alt. Rock fans, so give them a listen, and check them out!
