The Gospel Youth have released a cover of Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back.” Listen here.
The track was recorded and produced by Julian Bowen at Portal Studios.
Frontman Sam Little spoke about the cover, saying, “We totally fell in love with this song when we were on Warped Tour this summer and it became a big part of our soundtracks on our ridiculously long drives. When we got back to the UK, Julian produced this full band cover of it and we just really wanted to release it for people to hear. It’s such a feel good song and I hope we did it justice!”
The band’s Rise Records’ debut Always Lose is out now.

Formed in 2014, the five-piece has previously shared stages with the likes of We Are The Ocean, Mallory Knox, Deaf Havana, Hands Like Houses, and many more.
