A savage evening of death metal lead by Alterbeast along with Inferi, Reaping Asmodeia, Created to Kill and Artwork For The Blind.

On the final few dates of the Feast on the East tour, Sacramento, CA-based Alterbeast blast on stage with a seriously hard-driving set.  Featuring several songs from their February 2018 release of Feast on Unique Leader Records including “Apex Night Eclipse” “The Maggots Ascension” and the title Track “Feast,” Alterbeast give the uncharacteristically small Louisville crowd everything they could have wanted … and then some.

Providing primary support on this leg of the tour are Nashville, TN based melodic death metallers Inferi. Inferi, touring in support of their most recent release Revenant, deliver a blistering set including many from the new release.  Frontman Sam Schneider and the guys seem to be having a good time on stage as they interact often with the crowd between most of the songs.

Minneapolis, MN-based Progressive/Technical Deathcore metallers Reaping Asmodeia were the first of the touring bands to perform.  Performing for the first time ever in Louisville, Reaping Asmodeia drives home an incredibly intense performance for those lucky to experience it.

Reaping Asmodeia is Alexander Drake Kelly, 8 String Guitar, Steven Lane, vocals and Daniel J Koppy on Drums (bassist Roman Pinter was not on stage tonight in Louisville).

It’s always great to see the local support pairings that show promoter Terry Harper Productions  assembles at his shows.  Versailles-Lawrenceburg, Kentucky based Created to Kill rolls through a punishing albeit short set of Death Metal. Created to Kill is off to Chicago next week to be part of the Chicago Domination Fest 5.

Opening the evening are Louisville, KY based Artwork For The Blind. Featuring songs from their self-titled album with Sean Curry on lead vocals and Sol. E. Williams leading the way on guitar the band tears through a blazing set. Artwork For The Blind will be headlining the opening night of Metal Fest 7 on August 4th.
