Alice In Chains At The Anthem 5-3-2018

Alice in Chains are currently out on tour in support of their upcoming new album that is set to be released sometime this year. The band recently released the first single from the album titled “The One You Know” which marks the first new material from the band in five years when they released, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. Walking Papers got things started for the night with an eight song set that consisted mostly of material from their latest release WP2

Walking Papers Setlist: Hard To Look Away, Somebody Else, How It Feels (The Missionary Position cover), Into The Truth, I’ll Stick Around, Death On The Lips, Capital T, Two Tickets and a Room.

Closing out the night were the band everyone had come out to see, Alice in Chains. AIC kicked things off with 1990’s “Bleed the Freak,” which was followed by “Check My Brain” from 2009’s Black Gives Way to Blue. The set weighed heavily on older AIC classics as one would expect and only consisting of tracks like, “Them Bones,” “Down in a Hole,” “We Die Young,” “Heaven Beside You,” “Man in the Box,” and wrapped up with “Rooster.” Alice in Chains will tour Europe for most of June and July before returning to the U.S. for a six week run thru the western part of the country.
