Grand Rapids’ blues-rock band Talk Radio is Patty PerShayla on lead vocals and bass guitar, Lucas Powell on lead guitar, and Andrew Karsten on drums. Not together quite a year yet, the band has been making a name for themselves with some local shows, and now they have this stellar single available on Bandcamp that will give you a taste of what this talented band of misfits is all about.
The song is “Walking On My Hands.” It’s one of those songs you’d expect to hear in a bar scene on Sons of Anarchy (and maybe it would have been if they wouldn’t have ended such an awesome show so prematurely). It’s a song with guts.
This song kind of makes you think of The Black Keys, but way cooler. It’s a spunky song with a great beat. There’s really nothing to not like about this song.
