With D.C’s March For Our Lives, happening the next morning, it seemed only fitting for Stay Amped: A Concert to End Gun Violence, was the best way to get everyone ready. The concert brought Fall Out Boy, G-Eazy, Bebe Rexha, Lizzo and Cam to The Anthem in the nation’s capital Friday night (March 23).

Along with these amazing musical guests, young students gave their testimonials, on their personal tragedies and loses of loved ones to gun violence. It was a sobering night, as these young students, cried and spoke out against the raging violence that has been sweeping our country and taking the lives of the young innocent.

Cam opened the night with her sweet country vibe and her touching speech on coming together to take a stand.

Lizzo was up next, with her energetic, danceable tracks and her message on self love. The crowd was dancing and singing along, causing a contagious energy in the venue.

Bebe Rexha came out and sang her radio hits, including “In The Name Of Love” and “Hey Mama”, the crowd could not get enough.

G-eazy took the stage next. After his opening tracks, “The Beautiful & Damned”, and “Pray For Me”, he spoke out on coming together to fight violence and that we need to spread love and kindness to each other. He invited BeBe Rexha out on stage to sing their duet “Me, Myself and I”, together.

Fall Out Boy was to be the grand finale, and rightfully so. They exploded on the stage with their hit, “Centuries” and the crowd knew every single word. They spoke on gun violence awareness and bringing out country together to stand against it. Their setlist, included the fan favorites, “Thnks fr th Mmrs”, “Uma Thurman” and “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark”. It was a sobering and exciting night to remember.
