Shepard Fairey, Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament, Mastodon’s Troy Sanders, The Kills’ Alison Mosshart and Gregory Siff are among those who have donated stunning works of art for a February 8th fundraising auction benefitting Smile + Wonder (smileandwonder.com), a Los Angeles-based therapy center and preschool. The star-studded event begins at 8pm at Smile & Wonder (3031 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90057) and will include a performance by critically acclaimed rock band Gone Is Gone featuring Troy Sanders fromMastodon, Troy Van Leeuwen from Queens of the Stone Age, Tony Hajjar from At The Drive-In and Mike Zarin of Sencit Music.
Those interested in attending the event in person should send an email to rsvp@smileandwonder.com for the chance to win a ticket. All entries should include name, address and phone number. 100 lucky winners will be chosen at random. You must be at least 21 years old to attend the event.

Founded in 2009 by Nicole Hajjar and her husband Tony (from Gone Is Gone and At The Drive-In), Smile + Wonder relies on thinly-spread state funds to make a difference in the lives of fantastic kids that need your support. Through specialized therapy services (such as speech-language therapy and occupational therapy) Smile + Wonder offers early intervention services to children in need (Smile) and includes a nurturing community based preschool (Wonder) that provides education for children between the ages of 2 and 5.
“We know how hard it is to raise a child,” says Tony. “And if there’s a child that needs more help than others, we know how difficult that is, too. Smile + Wonder was created to help children reach their full potential.”
