Alternative metal band Sevendust released their tenth studio Album ‘Kill the Flaw’ on October 2 2015.    The album containing 11 tracks plus a bonus track in the group’s 10th studio album since their formation in 1994.  ‘Kill the Flaw’ became Sevendust’s highest charting release coming in at number 2 on the Billboard Top rock album and top hard rock album charts.   Released through 7Bros records the band is also releasing a series of webisodes that chronicle the making of the album.  The first webisode was released on September 22 2015 with two others having been released to date.

The first single from ‘Kill the Flaw’ “Thank You” was released on July 26 2015.   The single shows off the vocal skills of singer Lajon Witherspoon while still being true to what Sevendust fans have come to expect from the band in their 20 plus years together.   ‘Kill the Flaw’ has one ballad “Cease and desist” that shows the range of Witherspoon and the variety in the bands songwriting.  Longtime and new fans alike will enjoy the mostly heavier tracks like “Death Dance” and “Not Today” that show off drummer Morgan Rose’s skills behind the kit while allowing guitarists Clint Lowery and John Connolly as well as Bassist Vinnie Hornsby shine in multiple spots on the album.

Sevendust fans old and new will not be disappointed with the bands tenth release.  The band is currently playing multiple dates in support of ‘Kill the Flaw’.   For a current list of tour dates as well as links to the exclusive webisodes be sure to check out the bands website www.Sevendust.com as well as their official facebook page https://www.facebook.com/sevendustofficial.
