Ryan Zimmerman's Ephemeral As A Kiss

Ryan Zimmerman is a Jersey Shore singer/songwriter with a penchant for mellow guitar chords and songs that know no boundaries. He has a new EP of four songs available now. Ephemeral As A Kiss is nothing like what fans of music out of this particular area are used to, it really has an eclectic sound even for a singer/songwriter.

While “The Reason” is an upbeat song that touches base on the struggles of daily life but teaches that it’s important to keep striving, “Backpacks” is a really mellow song that has an ethereal sound. “I’ll be sleeping all day” is an interesting line, only because the song is so mellow and relaxing. This song talks about not changing, getting up at different times each day. It’s about doing what you want and just getting through life.

Each song on this EP seems to have some kind of a lesson within the lyrics. It’s music that will remind you of your own life and your own struggles. These songs will push you to be you while tugging at your heartstrings as well. The other two tracks are also well written and lyrically story driven.
