Canadian alt-pop quartet ROMES are honored to have been recognized by the Canadian Radio Music Awards for their nomination in the “Best New Group Or Solo Artist” category for their hit single, “Tryna Be”. The single, which peaked in the Top 30 of the Canadian CHR charts, is featured on the band’s 2017 eponymous debut album, ROMES (out now on Five Seven Music).

Praised by Billboard for its “infectious groove”, ROMES is produced and mixed by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Phoenix, Fitz and the Tantrums, M83) and also features breakout hit songs  “Believe”, “Summer Sound” and their latest single, “When The Night Comes”.

ROMES is comprised of Jacob Alexander (vocals) and Nicolas Amadeus (drums), Andrew Keyes (bass) and James Tebbitt (guitar). The childhood friends met while attending school in Ireland, connecting over their mutual passion for rock music and undeniable chemistry as musicians. Perfecting their inimitable sound since their adolescent years, ROMES effortlessly documents true emotion in their songs while accenting each member’s personalities to create irresistible, eclectic music.

To celebrate their radio success, ROMES has launched a new radio edit of their latest single, “When The Night Comes”, available now on all streaming services.
