The Classic Amphitheater Celebrates 25th Anniversary in 2017

The 25th Anniversary of The Classic Amphitheater will celebrate its rich history through the strategic partnership with one of the nation’s leading live events companies, AEG Live.

 
 
Richmond International Raceway and AEG Live have entered into an exclusive booking agreement for Richmond’s premier outdoor venue, The Classic Amphitheater at the Richmond Raceway Complex. The two companies are leaders in the entertainment business and will provide an amazing series of concerts in the region for the 2017 season.

The 25th Anniversary of The Classic Amphitheater will celebrate its rich history through the strategic partnership with one of the nation’s leading live events companies, AEG Live, to continue the success of bringing the top touring artists and superior concert experiences to music fans. The Classic Amphitheater’s classic sound located in metro Richmond with easily accessible parking and quality local food and beverage amenities provides the best concert goer experience in the region.

The Classic Amphitheater has hosted top national recording artists such as Aerosmith, Sting, Jimmy Buffett, Dave Matthews Band, Van Halen, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, Jr., Foo Fighters, James Taylor, Florida Georgia Line, T.I., Gucci Mane, Little Big Town, and The Lumineers. The venue annually hosts the Stone Soul Music & Food Festival produced by Radio One.

The Amphitheater has 6,000 covered seats, six permanent private dressing rooms with restrooms and showers attached to the stage as well as two loading docks. There is a separate hospitality building providing a full menu of food and beverage amenities. The backstage area is completely secured with ample room for parking large vehicles and tour buses.

Concerts and artists celebrating the 25th Anniversary of The Classic Amphitheater in 2017 will be announced in the near future.
