Post Malone Goes Post-Hardcore

Now or Never releases cover of emotional track

Rapper Post Malone has been blowing up the scene with his infectious hooks and flow. His talent has not gone unnoticed as even metalheads are taking notice and putting their own unique spin on his tracks. Now or Never found inspiration in “I Fall Apart,” (mixed and mastered by Erik Ron) in which the band is excited to premiere their cover of the hit.

Described by Vocalist Logan Fischer as “a ragtag group of dudes from other bands built by social media”, Now or Never combines members of I Set My Friends on Fire, Reconstruct and Survivalist. Even though all living states apart, were able to come together to create the genre-transcending track. Fischer explained, “We decided to whip up a song for fun one day and see how it turns out. We really like the way it turned out so we were like, ‘hey, why do’t we start a project’ and bam! here we are.”

The band prides themselves on being DIY even doing all the recordings in bedroom studios. Guitarist Nate Blasdell shared, “I recorded the instrumentals and wrote the arrangement in my bedroom and immediately sent it to Fischer and Mike Mileham to lay down vocals. The end result is something we’re all extremely proud of.”

Solidifying the line up in late 2017, Now Or Never mixes traditional metalcore elements and post hard hardcore that showcases the immaculate cleans from Mileham blending perfectly with Fischer’s screams. The supergroup also features Dakota Gonzales holding the band together on drums.

Now Or Never has been quiet thus far since their inception, but have kept busy writing behind the scenes. Fischer added, “We are working on a new EP and will drop a couple more covers here and there. We can’t wait to release more music and hope that people like what they hear!”
