Exclusive Video for “Cooler” with Christy Dawn Out Now
LA group PHASES‘ own Z Berg has teamed up with designer and friend Christy Dawn Petersen to create several festival-inspired pieces for the designer’s line of sustainably made dresses. They collaborated on a limited edition dress and romper for Christy Dawn, both of which you can see in their exclusive music video for “Cooler” HERE.
Set to perform with PHASES at Coachella in just a few weeks, Z wanted something unique to wear. “I’ve had this vintage baby doll dress for years,” she said. “It was actually the dress I was wearing when I was signed! But it was falling apart so I called Christy to see if we could create something similar but with a more modern flare.”
“It is really exciting to collaborate with Z on these two pieces,” Christy said. “Z radiates creativity and she’s got such a strong vision. The dress is flirty and feminine and the perfect dress for festival season. The Z Jumper is a head turner. It is exactly the kind of piece you’d imagine you would wear if you were playing on stage in front of thousands of people at a festival in the desert.”

Fresh off an exciting week at SXSW that earned them praise from Elle, People, and Yahoo Music, PHASES have now announced a hometown show at LA‘s The Roxy on May 18, with tickets on sale now. They will continue touring throughout 2016 in support of debut album For Life, including upcoming festival slots at Coachella and Hangout Music Festival as well as a tour with Maroon 5 later this year.
