Under a crisp November full moon, a white and black big top appeared in the parking lot of Potomac Mills mall. Housed under this big top is one of the best traveling European style circus, theatre, and cabaret with a unique horror twist shows you will find. From the opening act of zombie trapeze artists to the closing performance featuring all of the night’s performers dancing to Michael Jackson’s thriller the night is a non-stop action packed two hour spectacle. Other highlights of the show feature a motorcycle high-wire act with one of the many sexy female performers hanging from the bottom. A possessed woman who is wheeled out on a bed before being hoisted above the crowd by her hair for her performance. There’s the dog boy who is temporarily released from his cage to perform his contortionist act. A vampire magician who whos performance includes several of the sexy assistants. Also included in the mix of horror and acrobatic performances are a few comedy skits, to lighten the mood and get the crowd laughing. There’s also plenty of audience participation, from members in the crowd being brought on stage to participate in the comedy skits, to the performers going into the crowd and interacting with fans. Like any type of cirque show there are plenty of concessions, from cotton candy, to slushies. Also fans can buy various masks, and take pictures with some of the performers during intermission. Overall the Paranormal Cirque is a fun and entertaining show and a must see!
