Mike Shinoda At The Fillmore Silver Spring 11-17-2018

Monster Energy’s Outbreak Tour featuring Mike Shinoda with special guests, Don Broco and AmirSaysNothing closed out the tour with a sold out show at The Fillmore Silver Spring on Saturday night. The tour kicked off back on October 10 in Montreal and snaked its way across the U.S. for twenty-two dates before wrapping up Saturday night.

In what was a home coming of sorts, AmirSaysNothing got things started for the night. With an early start fans were still filing in as AmirSaysNothing performed a short but energetic set that got fans in the mood for what was to come the rest of the night. Fans can check out the L.A. rappers latest material at his Soundcloud HERE

Following AmirSaysNothing were England’s Don Broco who stepped things up a notch with a seven song high energy set. The guys released their latest album, Technology back in February and the bulk of the set came from the latest release. Rounding out the set were tracks from 2015’s Automatic and was closed out with the “T-Shirt Song,” which had the fans waving their t-shirts.

The guys will see some heavy touring starting in December when the band heads to the Far East to tour Taiwan, China, Singapore, and Japan before heading to Europe for dates in Spain, Italy, Austria, Germany, and more. There will also be a UK tour before heading back to the U.S. for SwanFest in Anaheim, CA. Fans can purchase tickets to the upcoming tour HERE

Don Broco Setlist: Everybody, Automatic, Pretty, You Wanna Know, Nerve, Come Out to LA, and T-Shirt Song.

Mike Shinoda played a perfect blend of material spanning his career, the night’s set was filled with solo material, Fort Minor material, and of course material from Linkin Park. The nearly two hour set consisted of a twenty-one song set that kept the 2000 plus singing the entire night. The night included the debut live performance of the song “Lift Off,” where Mike was joined on stage by AmirSaysNothing where the two exchanged verses thru out the song. At the beginning of “In the End” Mike spoke to the crowd about his career, the tour, and Chester asking the crowd to sing Chester’s part, which they did often times overpowering the band on stage. The night wrapped up with a five song encore that saw Mike down on the barricade interacting with the fans and at one point even diving into the crowd. Members of Don Broco returned to the stage to close out the night and tour with “A Place for My Head” before being joined by crew members and staff as Mike thanked everyone for coming out. As a bonus Mike and the crew threw merchandise and anything else laying around on the stage as keepsakes for the fans. Overall it was an incredible night of music.
