Luca Bash’s Keys of Mine

Luca Bash's Keys of Mine

Luca Bash began his music career in the 90s. He started out as a classical violinist, picking up the guitar in 1994. However, according to his bio, he didn’t write his first song until 1999. Once that happened he opted to go to school for music and work toward getting his name out there.

In 2006, Bash, an Italian singer/songwriter, won an award for best interpretation at the International Festival of Songs in Italy. At one point Bash formed a band that was called BASH, but they broke up in 2011. He didn’t let that keep him from making music.

Keys of Mine is Bash’s first release since 2015, though not his first release ever. You can give the music a listen on Soundcloud. There are 15 songs to choose from if you just want to listen to one or two or check out the whole album. If you like what you hear, you can purchase the complete album on Amazon.

Bash’s music has a nice jazz sound to it, meshed with what could only be described as alternative adult contemporary. “Backstage” has all of that, and something more. More than the lyrics or even the vocals, the musicianship on these songs (and this song) stands out.

Some songs are far more intriguing than others on this album. One of them is Jekyll & Hyde. This song has an ominous edge to it, but it is a beautifully rendered song.

If you enjoy music that is unique, intriguing, clever and inspiring (in the fact that it offers something different), this is an album for you. This is a 5-star collection of songs from a talented Italian musician.
