Lindsey Stirling At Jiffy Lube Live 7-24-2018

Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling are currently out on a co-headlining tour, which features a full orchestra with each act. The tour made a stop at Jiffy Lube Live on Tuesday night, and despite bad weather and rain fans filled the pavilion for a night of great music.

The duo have been switching up who closes out the night thru out the tour and on this night it was Lindsey who was set to close out the evening. The tour is slated to run thru September 8th when it will wrap up in Ridgefield, WA at the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater.

The two piece Cellogram started the evening off with a 30 minute set to get the crowd warmed up. Then it was on to the headliners everyone had braved the rain to come out and see.

Backed by a 30 piece orchestra, Evanescence got things under way with Amy Lee behind the piano for “Overture.” The dark and moody set included The Beatles’ cover of “Across the Universe” as well as her singles “My Heart Is Broken,” “Bring Me to Life,” “Imaginary,” “Lost in Paradise,” “My Immortal,” and was closed out with “Imperfection.” Lindsey also came out to join Evanescence for the song “Hi-Lo.” Amy Lee’s vocals were powerful thru out the entire set and often drowned out the orchestra behind her. For any Evanescence fan this is a rare and special setting to see the band shine.

Lindsey Stirling closed out the evening with sixteen song set that kicked off with “The Arena,” and moved quickly into “Moon Trance” that saw Lindsey dressed in a skeleton outfit while she danced and played around large tombstones with accompanying background dancers. Amy Lee returned to the stage to sing vocals on “Shatter Me” and the set was closed out with the “Phantom of the Opera Medley.” Lindsey is a violinist extraordinaire and to see her move and dance around all while playing with such ease can put fans in a state of awe. Lindsey put on more than just a concert, she put on a visual performance that featured costume changes and even saw Lindsey take flight high above the stage during “Take Flight.” Tickets for the remaining dates of the tour can be purchased HERE.
