After having their Hollywood, FL show canceled over safety concerns, Limp Bizkit brought their ‘Still Sucks’ tour to The Norva in Norfolk, VA on Wednesday night. The show which was originally slated to be at Chartway Arena was moved to The Norva to provide fans a more intimate experience and be up close and personal with the band. The tour makes its way across the state for a show in Salem, VA before heading north for a string of shows. This small run will wrap up on May 31st in Ontario, CA at the Toyota Arena, fans can purchase tickets for upcoming shows HERE.
Fans lined up around the block trying to squeeze into The Norva which was filled to the brim by the time the show got started. The night featured three openers, $not, Wargasm UK, and Scowl who all got the crowd warmed up and ready for Limp Bizkit to take to the stage and rip the rood off the venue.
By the time Limp Bizkit took to the stage around 9:30 The Norva was filled to capacity. The night’s setlist differed slightly from opening night with things kicking off with the cover of Ministry’s “Thieves” vs “Dad Vibes”. From there things rolled into “Out of Style,” “Dirty Rotten Bizkit,” and “Pill Popper.” After that it was classic Limp Bizkit hit after hit with “9 Teen 90 Nine,” “My Generation,” “Livin’ It Up,” and “Nookie.”
At the end the guys brought all the openers back out on stage for an SNL style goodnight, during which Fred announced they had forgotten to play one song. Wes quickly broke into “Break Stuff” and The Norva erupted with several mosh pits. During the final several members of the opening band stage dived and joined Fred on vocals.
Overall this is a must see tour of the spring. Fred and company are in fine form and sound just as good in 2022 as they did in 1999. Hopefully another tour will be announced for later in the year, in the meantime don’t miss your chance to see this tour!
