Kris Heaton Band's World Gone Mad

The first track on this album, World Gone Mad, is a catchy tune that will have you singing. Catchy, but full of meaning and a song fitting to an album with such a title. Kris Heaton, the man behind this band, “won the Miller High Life Rock To Riches Award as well as numerous Akademia Music Awards including “Best Rock Song 2017” for “Who Let The Bullets Fly”, the potent album opener.”

This first song gives you a feel of the classic bluesy rock sound that is eminent throughout this album. This album is a must listen for anyone that is a fan of Bruce Springsteen, as the tracks have a sound that is somewhat similar, although you will hear some stuff that sounds more like a conglomeration of Greg Allman and Blue Oyster Cult even.

The title track is another standout song on this 12-track album. The world has gone mad, and this album speaks to that and all the craziness that is going on out there right now. It’s a message telling us that it’s time to make a change. If you’re a fan of rock music with a bluesy edge that has a 70s sound to it, at times, this is an album for you.
