Along with Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth, Anthrax is a card-carrying member of The Big Four, the four bands that defined the speed/thrash/metal genre. Anthrax helped break down race and genre barriers when they collaborated with Public Enemy on the track “Bring The Noise,” and was the first metal band to have its music heard on Mars when NASA played “Got The Time” to wake up the Mars Rover in 2012.  Taking advantage of COVID-19’s prohibition of concert touring, the band’s Charlie Benante, Frank Bello and Scott Ian are already hard at work writing the next Anthrax album. Anthrax is sponsored by Monster Energy – more than an energy drink, Monster is a lifestyle in a can!

Heavy metal isn’t just music: it’s a way of life. No current band embodies the spirit of metal’s immersive culture with more fervour and might than Amon Amarth: Sweden’s celebrated Viking overlords and undisputed modern masters of epic heavy metal. Amon Amarth stand tall and unassailable: over 25 years into a career that has seen them evolve from humble origins in the dark, dank rehearsal rooms of their native Tumba to their current status as explosive festival headliners and one of the metal world’s most widely adored bands.

Emboldened by their recent triumphs and unerring longevity, Amon Amarth returned in 2019 with Odin’s breath billowing their sails with more strength than ever before. Encapsulating everything that fans love about the band while boldly stepping into new territory, Berserker is a career-best tour-de-force from 21st century metal’s most dedicated foot-soldiers. The march to glory continues!

KNOTFEST.COM has already treated fans to sets from Slipknot, Lamb Of God, Megadeth, Trivium and Behemoth all of which have featured band member participation in the comments section during the broadcast and the release of special edition merch items with a portion of profits going to COVID-19 relief charities.

SLIPKNOT and the KNOTFEST team would like to extend their warmest thanks to everyone who has joined the live streams, chatted with the artists and ordered merchandise.  Through the support of our community, Knotfest.com fundraising efforts have raised over $35,000 so far. The KNOTFEST community has proved, once again, that it is more than a fanbase, it’s a family.

The many KNOTFEST events worldwide – KNOTFEST Festivals, KNOTFEST Roadshow Tours, and KNOTFEST At Sea – have one purpose, which is to celebrate our community of loud music, art, and culture – together. When we are unable to physically come together to do this, for the sake of the common health and safety of all – KNOTFEST is keeping the celebration going with these weekly live performances.

SLIPKNOT and KNOTFEST welcome ALL in the heavy metal community to these events. We hope you enjoy.

In the words of Corey Taylor: Take care of yourselves, and take care of each other.
