Kid Rock At Royal Farms Arena 3-3-2018

American bad ass Kid Rock played to a capacity crowd at Baltimore’s Royal Farms Arena on Saturday night. The tour billed as the ‘American Rock N Roll’ tour is slated to run thru March 24th when it wraps at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV. Following the tour Kid Rock will take a short break before setting sail on the 9th Annual Kid Rock Cruise which will run from April 10th thru the 14th. Out playing the support role are Nashville’s A Thousand Horses. Michael Hobby (Vocals), Bill Satcher (Lead Guitar), Graham Deloach (Bass), Zach Brown (Guitar) make up A Thousand Horses who released their latest album, Bridges back in June of 2017. The night’s set saw only two songs from the latest album with tracks from the 2015 release, Southernality rounding out the rest of the set. The band’s singles, “Southernality,” “Preachin’ To the Choir,” and “Smoke” all made it into the setlist. Fans can follow the band at their website HERE.

After a 45 minute intermission Kid Rock took to the stage kicking his set off with “Greatest Show on Earth,” from his 2017 release, Sweet Southern Sugar. Other songs from the latest release to make the set included “Po-Dunk,” and “American Rock ‘n Roll” which made it into the three song encore. Backing Kid Rock on the night was Twisted Brown Trucker which currently consists of, Jason Krause (guitar), Jimmie Bones (keyboards), Laura Creamer (vocals), Misty Love (vocals), Stefanie Eulinberg (drums), and Marlon Young (Lead Guitar). With a career spanning over 20 years and eleven studio albums under his belt, Kid Rock has no problem with material to fill his two hour set. Fans were treated with tracks like “You Never Met a Motherfucker Quite Like Me,” “American Bad Ass,” “Picture,” the Ted Nugent cover of “Cat Scratch Fever” and a three song encore that wrapped up with “Bawitdaba.”
