Jason Aldean's 'Back In The Saddle' Tour Rolls Into Bristow, VA 10-16-2021

What better way to close out the 2021 concert season at Jiffy Lube Live than with country superstar, Jason Aldean? Chilly temps and a little bit of rain didn’t deter fans from filling the pavilion for a night of some of the best country music out there. Jason is set to release his tenth studio album, Macon on November 12th quickly followed by Georgia which will be released in early 2022. Fans got a little taste of the new material with “If I Didn’t Love You” the first single to be release from the upcoming album which sees Carrie Underwood join Jason on vocals. The single hit number two on Billboard’s US Hot Country Songs chart. Check out the official video below.

John Morgan got things started on the evening with a brief fifteen minute set, quickly followed by Lainey Wilson who recently hit number one with her single “I Know A Few Things A Man Oughta Know”. Lainey’s set was also brief consisting of roughly a twenty minute set of four songs.

Lainey Wilson Setlist:
Straight Up Sideways
Dirty Looks
LA
I Know A Few Things A Man Oughta Know

Jason Aldean has always been known for bringing out some of the top up and coming country artists out on tour with him and on this tour he’s tapped country singer and songwriter, Hardy to fill that role. Hardy released his debut album A Rock back in September of 2020 and his forty-five minute set consisted mostly of songs from the album. Lainey Wilson returned to the stage to sing “One Beer” and the singles “Rednecker,” and “Give Heaven Some Hell” also made the setlist.

HARDY Setlist:
REDNECKER
BOYFRIEND
GIVE HEAVEN SOME HELL
BOOTS
ONE BEER (with Lainey Wilson)
God’s Country (Blake Shelton cover)
He Went To Jared
4X4
UNAPOLOGETICALLY COUNTRY AS HELL
TRUCK

Jason closed out the night taking to the stage amongst an explosion of sparks as he kicked off his 90 minute set which could easily be made into a greatest hits album. The set kicked off with “Crazy Town,” “Take a Little Ride,” and “Fly Over States,” it’s near impossible to find room for improvement in the twenty-three song set that contained hit after hit. For years fans in the area have marked their calendars for when Jason pulls into town, and on Saturday he didn’t disappoint delivering an energy fueled performance that left the fans wanting more and asking when to mark their calendars for his return in 2022.
