Jason Aldean At Jiffy Lube Live 7-14-2018

The ‘High Noon Neon’ tour rolled into Jiffy Lube Live on Saturday night to a packed house of close to twenty-five thousand fans. The tour features ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year winner Jason Aldean as well as two of country music’s up and comers Lauren Alaina, and Luke Combs. 

American Idol contestant Lauren Alaina got things started with a thirty minute set that included the cover of Gun’s n Roses’ “Paradise City.” She also had some fun with the crowd as she invited a fan on stage to dance with her during “Next Boyfriend,” also included in the set was her current single “What Ifs,” and she wrapped up the performance with “Road Less Traveled.”

Up next was Luke Combs whose popularity continues to grow. With red solo cup in hand Luke took the stage for a ten song set that included a medley of covers as well as hits like, “When It Rains It Pours,” “When It Rains It Pours,” and “Hurricane.” Also included in the night’s set were “She Got the Best of Me,” “Houston We Got a Problem,” and “Beautiful Crazy,” which were part of the reissued deluxe version of his 2017 album, This One’s for You

Closing out the night was none other than Jason Aldean who proved to the twenty-five thousand in attendance that he is well deserving of the title of Entertainer of the Year. Launching into the air from beneath the stage Jason kicked off his twenty-four song set with “Gettin’ Warmed Up” from his latest release, Rearview Town before quickly moving into “Take a Little Ride.” Also making the setlist from the new album were “Drowns the Whiskey,” “Rearview Town,” and “You Make It Easy.”  The night’s setlist could easily make up a greatest hits album as fans were treated to, “Crazy Town,” “Tattoos on This Town,” “Amarillo Sky,” “Fly Over States,” and wrapped up with “Hicktown.” The tour is set to wrap up in Irvine, CA at the FivePoint Amphitheatre on September 29th.
