Immortal Synn is a heavy metal band hailing from Colorado. Their music has been described as a combination of the “aggro-attitude of Municipal Waste, the rock n’ roll danger of Guns n’ Roses and the metal sneer of Megadeth.”
Metal music fans will relish in the sound this band has created. Instead of feeding off the new metal sounds that have been emerging and then dying over the last few decades, Immortal Synn has gone for a more classic metal sound with this album. It’s not all retro or vintage sounding, but it has enough of that retro metal feeling to make it a gem for anyone that appreciates the music from bands like Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden.
“Liberty Rising” is a patriotic song. “Metal And Blood” has some crazy drumming on it, living up to a true metal song. Most of the songs have lyrics that are easy to understand, but from time to time you may get a little bit of that “cookie monster” sound that is so rampant in new metal (that’s OK when it doesn’t fill the entire song).
The guys in Immortal Synn are some talented musicians. Not only are the vocals pretty killer, but the percussion work is phenomenal and the guitars sound fantastic. If you’ve been looking for something great in metal, and are a fan of any of the aforementioned bands (they even have a fairly similar sound to Primal Fear), you will definitely enjoy listening to this album.
