Founders Entertainment is excited to announce the 2018 lineup for Gov Ball After Dark, the official late-night programming for the eighth annual Governors Ball Music Festival. This year, the “Festival with a New York Heart” (New York Times) will take place from Friday, June 1st through Sunday, June 3rd on Randall’s Island Park, with After Dark shows taking place during and leading up to the festival dates. When the lights come up on the Gov Ball NYC stage, music fans can venture out into the Gotham night to take in shows at intimate clubs and theaters throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Gov Ball After Dark’s 2018 schedule kicks off Wednesday night, May 30th with performances from Dirty Projectors and Aurora at Public Arts and Bowery Ballroom, respectively. Things only heat up further Thursday through Sunday night, with sets from the likes of Cut Copy, Galantis, The Glitch Mob (DJ Set), Margo Price, Japandroids, Vic Mensa, Amine, The Menzingers, Flight Facilities (DJ Set), Wolf Alice, Jay Electronica, and many more.

This summer marks the eighth annual edition of New York City’s homegrown fest. Featuring performances from Eminem, Jack White, Travis Scott, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Governors Ball 2018 also boasts a lineup of 65+ artists including Halsey, N.E.R.D., Khalid, Chvrches, The Gaslight Anthem (Performing The ‘59 Sound), Post Malone, Silk City (Diplo + Mark Ronson), and many more.
Governors Ball will also delight with what Time Out New York deems some of “the best grub and libations in the city
.” The recently announced food lineup for the festival includes a special fried cookie dough collaboration between Big Mozz and Cookie Do, New Territories, Ramen Burger, Taiyaki NYC, Sweet chick, La Esquina, Wowfulls, John’s Juice, Stuffed Ice Cream, and offerings from so many other great NYC establishments.
