Escape the Fate At The Tarheel 4-6-2018

In between their tour with Papa Roach, Escape the Fate played a show in Jacksonville, NC at The Tarheel with local rock bands for their newest album, I am Human. At the venue, fans were lined up 30 minutes before the doors opened.

Opening the night was a local metal favorite, Ethyrium. With their guttural vocals, heavy guitar, and melodic keyboard, the audience soon began moshing and enjoyed their set.

Wilmington-based Weight of Whispers were next on the stage, ending it with an Avenged Sevenfold cover that brought the energy of the crowd up, ready for the other bands.

Set for the Fall out of Fayetteville, NC was the final band before Escape the Fate came on stage. Their performance was full of energy as each member was all over the stage and the guitar player did dizzying moves while playing.

Escape the Fate finally came on-stage to a perfectly primed audience. Throughout their set, fans sang along to every song. Lead singer, Craig Mabbit, interacted with the audience with a smile plastered on his face all night and taking several selfies with fans’ phones. He even took a special moment to thank all the military service members, since the venue is in a heavily military-populated town. After the set, Robert Ortiz (drummer) TJ Bell (Guitar) and Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft (Guitar) met with fans for pictures.

Escape the Fate will be touring with Papa Roach and Nothing More until May 13th. Follow their facebook page for all updates, www.facebook.com/EscapeTheFate and download or stream their new album on Spotify, Amazon, iTunes or Google Play.
