ENTER SHIKARI “Take My Country Back”

Following their biggest album and Arena tour to date, Enter Shikari share the video for new single ‘Take My Country Back’, taken from critically acclaimed Top 5 album ‘The Spark’, as they head out for the Summer to play special live dates throughout the UK and Europe including festival headline slots at 2000 Trees and Boomtown in the UK.

The band are excited to announce a warm up show at Hatfield’s The Forum venue: ‘A Local Show By Local People’ on 13^th July, the day before they headline 2000 Trees Festival, and on 10^th August ‘An Evening Spent In A Confined Space’ at The Joiners, Southampton*** before they headline the Town Centre Stage at Boomtown Festival in Winchester on 11^th August. The video for ‘Take My Country Back’ was made by long-time Enter Shikari fan, Max Graur, chosen by the band for his flair when they saw the animated video he made for ‘There’s A Price On Your Head’, taken from their fourth album ‘The Mindsweep’. A run of headline Scandinavian shows is also being announced to close out Enter Shikari’s 2018, which see the band returning to the region for the first time since supporting The Prodigy on their massive Invaders Must Die tour in 2009.

***Music Venue Trusts “Fightback” series is a run of 100 shows in small venues by bigger artists, to highlight the importance of grassroots music venues to the culture and economy of the country, and to raise money for the MVT’s Emergency Fund providing legal aid to venues threatened with closure.

Enter Shikari’s critically acclaimed album ‘The Spark’ is an ambitious, inspiring piece of work that poignantly reflects their legendary career rise to have become one of the biggest and most exciting bands the UK has ever seen. Following 4 seminal albums of which 3 have been Top 10, ’The Spark’, produced by David Kosten (Everything Everything, Bat For Lashes), is the bands most melodic and personal album to date; a soundtrack to our tumultuous world, a record for everyone who’s filled with frustration but hasn’t lost the capacity for hope.
