UK’s CONTINENTS follow up their 2013 release Idle Hands with Reprisal today. A 35 minute set of wrathful, vicious vocals interweaved with metal-leaning grooves and hardcore breakdowns. In addition to their sophomore release for Victory Records, CONTINENTS have also revealed the video for the first single “Life Of Misery.”

“We want to make sure people understand that the aggression we’ve created amongst the album is from genuine experience and for people to understand, as long as you commit yourself to the end goal, don’t listen to others who try to bring you down,” vocalist Phil Cross declares.
As Rock Sound Magazine puts it, “Reprisal is an intense and unforgiving blend of fast, slow and sludgy grooves that ultimately transfer the ferocity of their live show.” That live spectacle was witnessed this past summer along their headlining tour, including appearances at Hevyfest and Ghostfest.
