WHO: Hailing from the City of Angels, Butcher Babies have been crushing stages worldwide for over a decade with their vicious live performance and explosive energy. Their stage presence is a spectacle that leaves audiences hungry for more. Frontwomen Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey, guitarist Henry Flury, drummer Chase Brickenden and bassist Ricky Bonazza juxtapose brutal, aggressive riffs with beautiful melodies that wail with emotional redemption. The group’s first two studio albums on Century Media Records reached the Top 5 on multiple Billboard charts. Butcher Babies hit a new high with their LP, LILITH as it debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Metal Charts and No. 7 on the iTunes Rock Charts. Releasing their new music independently, the band has raised its game and is set to reach new heights.
WHAT: A celebration of the band’s 10 year anniversary with a livestream of the band playing their critically-acclaimed debut album GOLIATH, with some extra fan favorites, old and new. Alexia Rodriguez from the band Eyes Set to Kill will be joining the band for a special performance. Appearances from friends of the band – tourmates and other members of the Butcher Babies extended universe – will be spread throughout the event! Including: members of Amaranthe, Anthrax, Eva Under Fire, Fire From the Gods, Infected Rain and Stitched up Heart among others!
“Goliath is probably our most beloved album to our fans, so we are thrilled to announce a live stream where we will be playing it in its entirety” explains vocalist Carla Harvey. “Goliath was recorded nearly a decade ago and some of the songs on it haven’t been played live ever…or at least not in years. What started off as a gift to the fans actually ended up being a treat for us; revisiting these songs in rehearsals took us on a trip down memory lane and reminded us of that pure, visceral joy we felt about playing music back when these songs were new. It was just what the doctor ordered after being separated for nearly a year during this pandemic.”
