Friday night one of the hottest tours of the summer made a stop at Jiffy Lube Live. The co-headlining tour of Five Finger Death Punch and Breaking Benjamin with special guests Bad Wolves and Nothing more played to a packed pavilion of over fifteen thousand.

It was an early show with gates opening at 5 p.m. and up and coming Bad Wolves taking the stage at 6 p.m. Bad Wolves formed in 2017 with vocalist Tommy Vext, drummer John Boecklin, lead guitarist Doc Coyle, rhythm guitarist Chris Cain and bassist Kyle Konkiel making up the band’s lineup. They released their debut album Disobey back in May and the album has generated three singles so far. The night’s set kicked off with the first three tracks from Disobey, “Officer Down,” “Learn to Live,” “No Masters,” and wrapped up with the platinum single “Zombie” which was originally released by The Cranberries. Fans can purchase a copy of Disobey HERE, look for Bad Wolves to continue touring thru the rest of the year and fans can purchase tickets HERE.

San Antonio’s Nothing More hit the stage just before 7 for a roughly 40 minute energy packed set. The guys are currently out on their ‘The Story We Tell Ourselves’ tour in support of their latest release. Nothing More is a must see live band, the band continues to get better with each album and tour and with each performance their fan base grows. The Story We Tell Ourselves earned Nothing More three Grammy nominations, one for Best Rock Album, and two for the single “Go to War” which made it into the nights set list. The night kicked off with “Do You Really Want It?,” and never slowed down as the band ripped thru hit after hit including, “Let ’em Burn,” “Go to War,” “Fadein/Fadeout,” and “Jenny.”

Five Finger Death Punch took the stage with a vengeance kicking their set off with “Lift Me Up,” “Trouble,” and “Wash It All Away” which was filled with plenty of fire and would set the tone for the rest of the thirteen song set. The guys released their seventh album, And Justice for None back in May but only two songs from the latest release made the nights setlist, “Trouble,” and the cover of The Offspring’s “Gone Away.” Vocalist Ivan Moody is in top form after battling his demons and coming back as strong as ever, often taking a minute to apologize to the crowd for past breakdowns. The nights set was filled with fan favorites ” Jekyll and Hyde,” “Bad Company,” “Never Enough,” the acoustic versions of “Wrong Side of Heaven,” and “Remember Everything,” as well as “Coming Down,” “Under and Over It,” and closed out the “The Bleeding.” 5FDP will continuing touring thru December when they wrap things up in Portland, ME, also look for the guys to play this year’s Louder Than Life festival.
