Get “Dazed and Confused” with AXS TV as the network unleashes a whole lotta Led Zeppelin with a “Saturday Stack” lineup honoring the groundbreaking rock quartet Sept. 23 starting at 1 p.m. The block includes the 1976 classic “The Song Remains The Same,” guitar god Jimmy Page in the 2008 rock doc “It Might Get Loud,” a pair of solo performances by Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant and more.

Get “Dazed And Confused” with AXS TV, as the network unleashes a whole lotta Led Zeppelin with a Saturday Stack lineup honoring the groundbreaking rock quartet on September 23, starting at 1pE. The block includes rare performances, solo sets, concert films, and more, kicking off with the 2008 rock doc IT MIGHT GET LOUD, featuring guitar wizard Jimmy Page discussing the tools of his trade alongside fellow six-string savants Jack White and U2’s The Edge.

 

Next, at 3pE, Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant puts a new spin on beloved classics with stripped down and acoustic renditions of “Black Dog,” “What Is And What Should Never Be,” “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You,” and “Whole Lotta Love,” as well as solo standouts “Turn It Up,” “Rainbow,” and “Little Maggie,” among others, in the 2016 concert ROBERT PLANT & THE SENSATIONAL SPACE SHIFTERS – LIVE AT DAVID LYNCH’S FESTIVAL OF DISRUPTION. And the hard rock pioneers take viewers on a psychedelic journey of music and cinema, rocking Madison Square Garden with an epic set that includes “Dazed And Confused,” “Stairway To Heaven,” and many more, in the 1976 hit LED ZEPPELIN: THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME at 4pE.

 

Robert Plant is back in action at 6:30pE, bringing his trademark vocals to the PBS Soundstage in Chicago for an innovative and intimate evening of music that finds Plant funking up Zeppelin classics such as “No Quarter” and “Four Sticks,” as well as the solo favorite “Freedom Fries,” and the Jimi Hendrix cover “Hey Joe” in SOUNDSTAGE: ROBERT PLANT & THE STRANGE SENSATIONS. Then, Sammy Hagar cruises down to the Sunshine State to headline SunFest with his band The Circle—featuring Jason Bonham, the celebrated son of Led Zeppelin’s trailblazing drummer John Bonham—in a special episode of the AXS TV original series ROCK & ROLL ROAD TRIP WITH SAMMY HAGAR at 7:30pE. 

 

The block comes to a close at 8pE, as heavy metal mastermind Dave Mustaine hosts a star-studded night of rock and metal that includes appearances and performances by Jimmy Page, Richie SamboraJohnny DeppCheap TrickKirk HammettOrianthi, and Joe Perry, in a special broadcast of CLASSIC ROCK AWARDS 2016.
