Common Ground Music Festival returns for it’s 17th year in Downtown Lansing July 5th – 10th. Festival organizers are excited to announce AWOLNATION will headline the Festival on Tuesday, July 5th.
Fresh off the conclusion of their arena tour with Fall Out Boy, the LA rock band will be headlining US shows all summer, including a stop in Lansing. The new album RUN, which features No. 1 hit “Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)”, “I Am”, and new single “Woman Woman”, is a culmination of front man Aaron Bruno’s time and experiences following the release of platinum-certified debut album Megalithic Symphony. “Sail”, the chart-topping first single off Megalithic Symphony is certified 6x platinum in the US and holds the record for the most weeks on Billboard Hot 100 chart by an independent artist. It is also a global success, amassing hundreds of millions of video views and streaming plays around the world.
Also on the bill for Tuesday, July 5th is German folk duo Milky Chance, Canadian rock duo Death from Above 1979, and alt rock group Finish Ticket.

Added to the lineup for Friday, July 8th is hip-hop artist French Montana, Karlos Farrar, and Rosco P.
Single Day tickets for Tuesday, July 5th will go on sale to the public on Friday April 1st at 10 AM EST. Fans on the Common Crew email list will have access to a limited number of tickets at a special pre-sale price beginning Tuesday, March 29th at 10:00 AM EST.
A limited number of Festival Passes are still available. Tickets can be purchased online at www.commongroundfest.com or in-person at the festival office Monday – Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM.
