Armonite’s And The Stars Above

If you’ve been hoping for something new and creative in the world of music, Cleopatra Records and Armonite have whipped something up that with satiate your palette for new and beautiful music.

Armonite is a pair of instrumental violin rockers from Pavia, Italy. Their music is brought to you sans vocals (most of the time) and guitars – yet you find yourself entrenched in joy as you listen to something amazing.

Armonite is composer Paolo Fosso and violinist Jacopo Bigi. Their classical music training shines through this collection of experimental tunes.

“Freaks” is a panic driven tune that will get your heart rate up as you listen. It’s part piano jazz, part space-trip, and part classical experimentation. While it’s an extremely busy tune, it still has a well-blended sound. It will make you imagine flying around among the stars in a spaceship.

“Clouds Collide” is a bit different, as there are some female vocals in this song. The vocals don’t take away from the classical violin and piano sounds that back the song up, however. This track has a medieval feel. It’s something you might imagine hearing on a more romantic scene or a lighthearted scene in a show likeGame of Thrones. It’s magic and mystical.

With just these two tracks you’ll understand why Cleopatra Records signed this amazing duo.
