ANTHRAX CONFIRMED FOR APPEARANCES
AT HEAVY MTL, RIOT FEST AND EXIT 111 FESTIVALS

In between writing sessions for a new album due in 2020, Anthrax – Joey Belladonna/vocals, Charlie Benante/drums, Scott Ian/guitars, Frank Bello/bass, and Jonathan Donias/guitars – have been traveling the world this first half of 2019, supporting Slayer on numerous dates of its Final World Tour, and playing major music festivals in Australia, South America, all parts of Europe, and Japan. Starting with Heavy MTL in Montreal on July 28, fans here in North America will be able to catch Anthrax live.

ABOUT ANTHRAX:
Over its nearly four-decade career, Anthrax has been a pioneering band with its unique style, sound and heavy brand of thrash metal, and, as Metallica’s Kirk Hammett put it, “one can hear their influence on any number of up and coming bands.” Anthrax has sold in excess of 10-million units, received multiple Gold and Platinum certifications, six Grammy nominations and a host of other accolades from the media, industry and fans, including 2016’s inagural “Innovatator Award” presented at the the Epiphone/Revolver Music Awards. Billboard’s Hard Rock Charts, and #9 on the Top 200, becoming Anthrax’s highest-charting album in more than two decades. Drummer Charlie Benante, bassist Frank Bello and guitarist Scott Ian, the dynamic triumvirate whose unique composition chemistry is, in part, what sets Anthrax’s music apart from other bands’ in the same genre, have been writing new material for a brand new album due out in 2020.
