Alice Cooper's Breadcrumbs

Ol’ Blackeyes is back with a new EP! Alice Cooper just released Breadcrumbs on Friday the 13th, showing the Rock N Roll Hall of Famer will always know how to ROCK N ROLL! This EP serves as a tribute to the garage rock heroes of Detroit in the ’60s, and features musicians from the city: Johnny “Bee” Badanjek from the Detroit Wheels, Grand Funk’s Mark Farner, and MC5’s Wayne Kramer.

It’s only fitting that this tribute EP opens with “Detroit City 2020.” With mentions of all the Punk Greats, the lyrics show what a legendary place Detroit is for Rock by encompassing the balls-to-the-wall persona of the city in its lyrics “play it loud and fast, make that guitar last, play it like today will be your last.”

“Go Man Go” is a new Alice Cooper original. This track has a get-up-and-go pace to it with “go man go” chanting in between each line. The syncopation and speed-rhythm of this song makes it fun, but it has a classic story-telling to it, and it ends on a cliff hanger, with the speed slowing to a halt to give the listener an unsettled anticipation for resolution with “We ride into the night, the train comes into sight, do we make it? I don’t know. Should I slam on the brakes or step on the gas? And she says ‘Go man go.’”

The rest of the album consists of great covers of Detroit rock legends. Any fan of Detroit garage rock, punk, and the Hollywood Vampire himself, you will not be disappointed in this album, so go get your copy today! To order the album, or to follow tour dates, head to www.alicecooper.com
