Adelita’s Way At Hooligans In Jacksonville, NC 7-24-2021

Hooligans in Jacksonville, NC welcomed Adelita’s Way’s return to this venue. And they were warmly welcomed back with horns and fists in the air from diehard fans of all ages! They were supported by local up-and-coming favorite rock bands Faith & Scars, Solid Hollow, and To Begin Anew.

Waiting for the main act, fans were already crowding the pit and Adelita’s Way walked on stage already rocking hard. This leg of their tour has a guest guitarist, “The Guanz.” He was a great addition to the band, but don’t fear, Adelita’s Army members-Tavis is still their guitar player!

Frontman, Rick DeJesus took a moment after a few songs to thank first responders and military members before dedicating “Ready for War” to them. Jacksonville is a military-dense town with 3 Marine Corps bases, and Army and Air Force bases nearby, so this song was definitely wild that night. Fortunately, they showed their support with fists and horns and screaming, and no crayons were eaten on the floor.

The audience was prompted to hold the hand of someone they love as they performed “Alive” acoustically. Their latest single, I Will Not Be Stopped” was next and this is my new favorite song! This will be my anthem for those hard core gym days, so go give it a download!

The night ended with great fan interaction of Rick giving fans setlists, drumsticks, and meeting fans at the merch table. With Adelita’s Way joining the #IndependentRevolution a few years back, their fan base is really what keeps them going, and I never get tired of seeing how much they love and respect their fans.

For more news on their tour, follow Adelita’s Way on social media and catch a show if they come to your area!
