Whitechapel and Attila support as Alex Terrible and company deliver a 14-song set on the Grizzly tour. April 11, 2026.
Slaughter to Prevail | Whitechapel | Attila The Fillmore Silver Spring — Silver Spring, MD | April 11, 2026 | Sold Out
Slaughter to Prevail’s North American headline tour made its Maryland stop on Saturday night at a sold-out Fillmore Silver Spring, and the Russian deathcore powerhouse delivered exactly what their fanbase has come to expect — a relentless, high-energy performance built around their 2025 album Grizzly and the catalog tracks that turned them into one of the most-streamed bands in extreme metal.
With over 1.5 million monthly Spotify listeners and a record-breaking wall of death at Hellfest on their resume, Slaughter to Prevail are no longer a cult discovery. They’re a headline act, and Saturday night felt like it.
The Supporting Lineup
Attila opened the evening and set an immediate tone for what kind of night this was going to be — loud, physical, and unapologetic. Chris Fronzak and company had the crowd moving from the jump.
Whitechapel followed and delivered one of the stronger supporting sets you’ll see on a package tour. Phil Bozeman’s low-end vocals and the band’s precision-locked arrangements reminded the room why they’ve been one of deathcore’s most respected names for nearly two decades. By the time they cleared the stage, the crowd was primed.
Slaughter to Prevail
The headliners wasted no time. “Bonebreaker” opened the set and the Fillmore responded immediately. From there the band cycled through Grizzly cuts and catalog staples in a 13-song main set that included “Banditos,” “Russian Grizzly in America,” “Viking,” “Imdead,” “Baba Yaga,” and “Conflict” before closing with “Behelit.”
A drum solo mid-set gave the crowd a moment to breathe before the final stretch — and then the encore brought “Demolisher” to close out the night.
Alex Terrible is the engine that makes all of it work. His vocal range — from the guttural lows that made the band’s reputation to cleaner melodic passages — remains genuinely impressive live, and his stage presence commands the room. It’s easy to see why a band with this kind of online following converts so effectively in a live setting.
Front man and bare-knuckle fighter, Terrible made his debut with RCC Bare Knuckle earlier this year with a 37-second knockout, and his intensity on stage reflects that same mentality. When he’s performing, there’s nothing casual about it.
The Verdict
Grizzly — which topped the Hard Music Chart at number one and hit the top three on Current Rock Albums — holds up on stage. The songs were built for rooms like this, and a sold-out Fillmore Silver Spring gave them exactly the environment they deserve.
