Epiphone YUNGBLUD SG Junior
Born in Yorkshire, England, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist YUNGBLUD first picked up a guitar at age two and began writing his own songs at age 10. Following the release of his self-titled EP and his full-length 2018 debut 21st Century Liability, YUNGBLUD released his hope for the underrated youth EP, which debuted in the Top 10 on the UK Official Albums Chart. YUNGBLUD’s words resonated with millions, earning him meteoric success. He has since accumulated 3.5 million Instagram followers, 4.5 million TikTok followers, and over 3 billion total Spotify streams. 2020 was the year YUNGBLUD released his UK No. 1 album, weird!, which has since been certified Gold, exceeding his potential when he was crowned by “MTV Push: Ones to Watch in 2020” and was shortlisted for the BBC “Sound of 2020” poll. He went on to win “Best Music Video” at the NME Awards in 2020 and “Best Alternative Artist” at the 2021 MTV EMAs. Described as a coming-of-age album, weird! features tracks “god save me, but don’t drown me out,” “weird!,” “strawberry lipstick,” and “mars.” The same year, he launched “The YUNGBLUD Podcast” on BBC Sounds, where he meets young music fans who are approaching turning points in their lives, to discuss topics and issues affecting young people today whether it be gender, sexuality, identity, money worries, friendships, style or mental health. In 2022, he released his critically acclaimed self-titled album, which included fan-favorites “The Funeral,” “Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today,” and “Memories ft. Willow,” which surpassed 1 million streams within its first week. The album went on to top the charts in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Later that year, in celebration of Spirit Day, during which millions wear purple in a stand against bullying in support of gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth, YUNGBLUD partnered with Mercury Studios to release the short film MARS which was inspired by his song of the same name. 2023 saw YUNGBLUD marking a brand new chapter, visually, sonically, and creatively, returning to his alternative roots with tracks like “Lowlife,” “Hated,” and “Happier” featuring Oli Sykes from Bring Me The Horizon. Over the years, YUNGBLUD has performed to sold-out crowds in over 20 countries and played some of the world’s biggest festivals, including Austin City Limits, Life Is Beautiful, Lollapalooza, Rock Am Ring, Reading and Leeds Festivals, and the Vans Warped Tour.
YUNGBLUD recently wrapped THE YUNGBLUD WORLD TOUR, playing shows across the U.S., Mexico, the UK, Europe, and Asia. Earlier this year, YUNGBLUD announced the inception of BLUDFEST, a groundbreaking and genre-diverse new music day festival that is founded and headlined by the musician – a natural progression for the artist who has solidified his place as one of the most powerful and influential voices of his generation. The goal of BLUDFEST–which features 12 acts at £49.50–is to provide every music fan access to the day-long music festival at an affordable price. In an industry first, YUNGBLUD has also created a free ticket ballot option for fans that need it: https://yungblud.os.fan/bludfest-ballot. BLUDFEST will take place on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the iconic Milton Keynes Bowl in the UK. For more information on BLUDFEST, visit https://www.bludfest.com.

His groundbreaking collaboration with American rapper and producer Lil Yachty, “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?)” marked the first taste of new music in 2024, and with more still to come throughout this year and next, YUNGBLUD’s trajectory is looking brighter and more exciting than ever.
