In 2023 the legendary British band Death Cult celebrated 40 years together, and with this returned to their early roots this autumn, revisiting iconic Death Cult tracks live in some of the original venues they played during that era.
They continue the celebrations of the tour and their anniversary with DEATH CULT – 8323, featuring the brand new songs including the searing track ‘FLESH AND BONE’ and the haunting cavernous ‘C.O.T.A’ (communion of the animals).
The latest Cult album Under The Midnight Sun was released in 2022 and the highly acclaimed record continued to demonstrate how The Cult’s co-founding members continue to push further into their esoteric strengths. Produced by Tom Dalgety (Pixies, Ghost, Royal Blood) their 11th album is flanked by Billy Duffy’s atmospheric riffs and incandescent solos, Ian Astbury reaches new heights of sinewy vulnerability in his vocal presence – bolstering the album’s stylistic alchemy with a lyrical perspective as evocative and mystical as the paradox in the album’s title.
