The Renegades & Juke Box Heroes tour featuring Styx and Foreigner, with special guest John Waite, made a memorable stop at Jiffy Lube Live on July 24, 2024. This tour brought together classic rock legends for a night filled with nostalgia and rock anthems.
John Waite kicked off the evening, delivering a 40-minute set filled with his classic hits from his solo career and bands The Babys and Bad English. Notable songs included “Missing You,” “When I See You Smile,” and a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love”.
Foreigner took the stage next, treating fans to a hit-packed setlist. They opened with “Double Vision” and played favorites like “Cold as Ice,” “Urgent,” and “Juke Box Hero.” Their set concluded with an encore featuring “I Want to Know What Love Is” and “Hot Blooded,” engaging the crowd in a nostalgic sing-along. The band’s energy was palpable, despite it being part of their farewell tour.
Styx closed out the night with a dynamic 13-song set. Their performance included classics like “The Grand Illusion,” “Too Much Time on My Hands,” and “Come Sail Away.” The band also included “Mr. Roboto” in their encore, much to the delight of longtime fans. Tommy Shaw’s energetic presence and Lawrence Gowan’s strong vocals were highlights of their performance.
